La Locanda di Montemaggio non la trovi per caso , è un pò nascosta tra gli alberi 😁. Location molto bella ed accogliente , la sala ha una dozzina di tavoli ed un bel camino. Ottimi piatti della cucina toscana , davvero molto buoni e ben preparati. Tagliata ai funghi porcini 🔝 Il personale è gentile e veloce. Ho bevuto un chianti "...delle civette..." ma lo toglierei dal menu.👍 Ristorante super consigliato.

Wir sind das zweite Mal während unseres Aufenthalts in der Locanda Montemaggio gewesen und es war wieder mal ein wundervoller Abend mit fantastischem und authentischem italienischen Essen und leckerem Wein. Das Abendessen war total lecker und man hat gemerkt, wie viel Liebe in der Zubereitung steckt. Sehr authentisch und total gemütlich. Die Nudeln wurden aus ganz frischen Zutaten zubereitet und man fühlte sich pudelwohl.

Luogo incantevole e accogliente in una zona da favola. Cucina locale vera e sincera, assolutamente non turistico nonostante sia accanto ad una struttura ricettiva. Non saprei cosa consigliare perché sia primi che secondi sono eccezionali. Fritto eccezionale, croccante e leggero. Dolci della casa con ciccolato superlativi. Torneremo molto presto per assaggiare il resto del menù!

Enchanting and welcoming place in a fabulous location. Authentic and genuine local cuisine, completely untouched by tourism despite being next to a hotel. I couldn't recommend anything else, as both the first and second courses are exceptional. The fried food is exceptional, crispy and light. The homemade desserts with chocolate are superb. We'll be back very soon to try the rest of the menu!

Posto bellissimo. Una bellissima villa incastonata nei boschi della Montagnola Senese tra il tumulo etrusco di Mucellena e il favoloso Castello di Celsa e delle Villa Cetinale. La villa con appartamenti e piscine custode in sé anche questa bellissima locanda con camino acceso, gli odori della cucina toscana che ti entrano subito nel naso e il sorriso di Enrico e Viola, fratelli gestori che ti accolgono con l enfasi di chi aspetta il viandante per ristorarlo, per riscaldarlo. L’aperitivo, l entree (pancosanti e fegatini) una bomba pura al palato! Il menù: piatti tipici toscani, della tradizione casalinga. Pasta fresca, ravioli ripieni di patate con porcini, delicati ripieni gustosi super appetitosi! Un gusto che ancora sento se non fosse che l avessi lavato con un ottimo calice di vino rosso del Chianti. Porcino alla piastra, trippa fritta, tagliata fritta ai porcini (uno spettacolo!) fagioli al fiasco e via di dolce di mattonella al cioccolato. Una goduria assoluta di sapore di casa e di bosco di autunno e di serenità, fuoco acceso, piscina illuminata. Una serata da incorniciare! Sono stato benisssimo. Domenica prossima ho già un pranzo programmato in Locanda (non vedo l ora). Sabato sera è stato Un bellissimo e pasciuto viaggio nel bosco di sera.

A beautiful place. A stunning villa nestled in the woods of the Montagnola Senese between the Etruscan mound of Mucellena and the fabulous Celsa Castle and Villa Cetinale. The villa, with its apartments and swimming pools, also houses this beautiful inn with a roaring fireplace, the aromas of Tuscan cuisine that immediately fill your nostrils, and the smiles of Enrico and Viola, the sister owners, who welcome you with the warmth of those who await the traveler to refresh and warm him. The aperitif, the entrée (pancosanti and chicken livers) were a pure feast for the palate! The menu: typical Tuscan dishes, traditionally home-made. Fresh pasta, potato-filled ravioli with porcini mushrooms, delicate, delicious fillings, incredibly appetizing! A flavor I could still taste if it weren't for the excellent glass of Chianti red wine. Grilled porcini mushrooms, fried tripe, fried tagliata with porcini mushrooms (spectacular!), beans al fiasco, and on to the chocolate brick dessert. An absolute delight, the flavor of home, the autumn woods, and serenity, a blazing fire, and a lit pool. An evening to remember! I had a wonderful time. I already have lunch planned at the Locanda for next Sunday (I can't wait). Saturday evening was a beautiful and nourishing journey through the evening woods. P.S. I had the entree served twice 😬☺️

Wir waren hier zum Mittagessen und es war einfach großartig! Viola hat uns herzlich empfangen und mit echter, original toskanischer Küche verwöhnt – frisch, unglaublich lecker, authentisch und voller Geschmack.
